EU anti-money-laundering rules set a €2,000 gambling threshold

The EU’s incoming anti-money-laundering framework will require gambling-service providers to apply customer due diligence when wagering or collecting winnings reaches €2,000 in a transaction or linked transactions. Providers will also need systems that attribute transactions to individual customers.
