This report says DraftKings built a machine-learning model that used customer behaviour to generate an internal score for promotional targeting. It also says the system was used to automate large-scale promotions and that executives linked it to improved sportsbook margins.
This account said DraftKings' 2023 model used betting frequency, account-balance patterns and loss-to-wager ratios to estimate how much a customer would lose after a promotion. It also said the company directed large-scale promotional spending toward customers with the highest internal scores.
Mastercard launched an AI payment option that issues a virtual credit card to an AI agent so it can make purchases within preset limits. Users can set spending caps, merchant restrictions, and optional approval checks before transactions are completed.
